Slalom Consulting grows 35% in 2012, almost four times the average industry growth rate
SEATTLE, Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Slalom Consulting, the largest division of Slalom, LLC, reported record revenue of $350 million for calendar year 2012, an increase of 35 percent over 2011 and almost four times the average industry growth rate1. To fuel that growth, the company hired 685 professionals for a total of more than 2,000 consultants and opened its Boston office—its eleventh in the US in 12 years.
Slalom also launched several new service offerings and business to better serve the needs of its clients.
- National Delivery Network provides delivery centers and skilled professionals in support of Slalom's local markets by providing on-shore delivery capabilities, incubating new practice areas, and collaborating with alliance partners to help clients drive grow, achieve competitive differentiation, gain efficiency and cut costs.
- Virtual Services – For markets where the company does not yet have a physical office in the U.S., this organization of centralized community-based teams brings select Slalom services to clients in such markets as Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Detroit and Honolulu.
- SuperConnectSM is a product division of Slalom, LLC that creates enterprise SaaS products such as mLevel to transform corporate learning by leveraging mobility, social, and games to increase effectiveness of learning.
Rounding out a successful year, Slalom received 15 awards, including local and national Best Place to Work honors, Microsoft Partner of the Year, and other awards recognizing industry and individual achievements.
