Slalom CEO Brad Jackson Named a 2017 Glassdoor Highest Rated CEO
Jackson received a 93 percent employee approval rating
SEATTLE, June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Slalom, the purpose-driven consulting firm that helps companies solve business problems and build for the future, today announced that its CEO, Brad Jackson, has been named one of Glassdoor's Highest Rated CEOs for 2017. Glassdoor released its annual report, which highlights top leaders employees love working for in countries throughout North America and parts of Europe.
Among chief executives recognized by employees in the U.S., Jackson received an impressive approval rating of 93 percent based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews employees shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year. The average CEO approval rating of the 700,000 companies reviewed on Glassdoor is 67 percent. At number 42 on the list, this is Jackson's third consecutive year making it into the top 50.
"I am honored to be included on Glassdoor's Highest Rated CEOs list with so many incredible leaders who put their people first," said Jackson. "Thank you to Glassdoor for providing the opportunity for all of us to receive real-time feedback on what we're doing right and the areas we can improve. I love my job because of the opportunity I have to work side-by-side with my Slalom teammates, creating a future in which every person loves their work and life."
"CEOs tell us the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award is one of the highest honors they can receive because it truly reflects employee opinion about the job they do every day. I congratulate all of the winners on this significant honor," said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor co-founder and CEO. "We know that CEO approval ratings correlate to overall employee satisfaction and trust in senior leadership, which contributes to long-term employee engagement, ultimately helping an employer's recruiting and retention efforts."
When employees submit reviews about their company on Glassdoor, they're asked to rate various factors about their employment experience, including their overall satisfaction and other workplace attributes like senior management. As part of these ratings, employees are also asked to rate whether they approve, disapprove, or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing.
