SkyWest Promotes Greg Burton Director - Internal Culture
ST. GEORGE, Utah, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW), is pleased to promote Greg Burton to director – internal culture. In his new role, Greg will be responsible for driving internal culture through employee recognition and engagement, leadership development, travel and people programs, as well as employee philanthropic opportunities. Burton will lead and develop a team of two managers and 11 employees. He will report to Lori Hunt, vice president – People.

Burton's leadership experience spans over a decade, during which time he served in various leadership roles marked with significant firsts for SkyWest. Burton was the first station manager under the United Express Code in Santa Rosa, Calif., and the first and only regional director of the Company's Continental code-share operation from 2003 – 2005. He also served as hub manager, regional director, and most recently as regional performance manager with responsibility for 18 contract station operations encompassing SkyWest's entire Canadian operation.
Burton holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from Brigham Young University – Hawaii. He resides in St. George, Utah.
