Skyera Names Former Brocade Exec as Vice President Channel Sales

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyera Inc., founded by an executive and engineering team with unsurpassed backgrounds in the solid-state, storage and networking arenas, today announced that it has hired Timm Hoyt as its Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales.

Hoyt is responsible for the creation and strategic execution of a value-centric channel for the worldwide distribution of the company's all-flash storage arrays.  He comes to Skyera from Brocade, where he held various senior executive positions.  Most recently as Head of Strategic Alliances, Hoyt led a team dedicated to joint technology initiatives with leading vendors such as VMware, Microsoft, SAP, Palo Alto Networks, OpenStack and Fusion IO.  He has also served in a variety of sales leadership roles at the global and local level including EMEA, APAC, and the US markets.
