Skybox Security Announces Expansion of Federal Sales Program

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Skybox Security, the leader in automated security risk and compliance management, today announced major enhancements to its federal sales program, with the appointment of a Director of Federal Sales based in Washington, D.C. and recent customer wins with government agencies and defense organizations in four countries.

The new Skybox Federal Group will be headed by industry veteran Kelly Jones, who brings more than 13 years' experience in provisioning leading-edge network and cyber security solutions to civilian and defense agencies. This move acknowledges the rapid expansion of Skybox sales to governments around the world, representing 33% of Skybox business year to date.

Defense Agencies – Armed forces agencies in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East have implemented Skybox cyber defense solutions over the past year to protect military computer networks from potential cyber attacks.  The typical defense agency deployment consists of all three principal Skybox products: Firewall Assurance and Network Assurance to proactively find and eliminate network device misconfigurations and policy violations, together with Risk Control to model networks, analyze risks and simulate cyber attacks.
