SKLZ Launches the "Search for the Next Training Ambassador"
Winner Will Receive a Training Experience at Athletes' Performance and Record a Training Video Series for SKLZ.com
CARLSBAD, Calif., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Following its highly successful entry into the fitness world at the IDEA World Fitness Convention, SKLZ, the global leader in sport and performance training products, is searching for its next brand ambassador. SKLZ and its partner Athletes' Performance (AP), the industry leader in integrated performance training for elite-level athletes, are giving one lucky trainer the opportunity to join the ranks of notable SKLZ brand ambassadors like Albert Pujols and LaMichael James.
Certified trainers are invited to videotape and share their own unique exercises utilizing SKLZ athletic performance products and how best to use them. The new ambassador will exemplify the SKLZ and AP training ethic, energy and performance knowledge, and will specifically represent the recently unveiled Trainers' Toolbox program. The Trainers' Toolbox launched at the IDEA World Fitness Convention where the world's top trainers and fitness experts were introduced to SKLZ's latest products and the AP athletic training methodology.
"We've always partnered with training experts to develop the best and most relevant products, content and programs," said John Sarkisian, founder and CEO of SKLZ. "This is another example of how we reach out into the training community and collaborate with exceptional and passionate individuals."
The winner, who will be selected by a panel of SKLZ and AP judges, will receive comprehensive training at AP's Phoenix facility and will learn the methodology and systems that help the world's top athletes achieve their goals. The ambassador will also film a full training series as a SKLZ presenter, with the video instruction being available on SKLZ.com and online video sites. Any certified trainer who is interested in submitting a video for the ambassador contest can enter online at http://www.sklz.com/trainingambassador by Sept. 1.
The SKLZ Trainers' Toolbox provides trainers and fitness professionals with a package of key training components that maximizes their clients' performance by training them like professional athletes. Key components of the SKLZ Trainers' Toolbox offering include:
- Core Training Products - A baseline assortment of SKLZ athletic performance products including Quick Ladder Pro, Weighted Speed Ropes, Barrel Roller, AccuPoint and Hurdles that span the key areas of speed, agility, power, balance, vertical leap and prehab/rehab.
