Sklar Kirsh Lures Owen P. Gross From Cox, Castle & Nicholson
Gross Specializes in Real Estate Transactions with a focus on Financing
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its pattern of recruiting top talent, Sklar Kirsh today announced the addition of real estate transactional attorney Owen P. Gross as a Partner.
"Owen is a seasoned, real estate veteran," said Firm Co-Chair Andrew T. Kirsh, who also leads its Real Estate Group. "He will provide a sophisticated level of service and expertise to our real estate clients."
Gross has over 20 years of experience handling all types of properties for lenders, borrowers, buyers, sellers, developer partners, equity partners, government agencies, tenants and landlords. This experience allows him to work on virtually all aspects of very complicated transactions—from structured finance, joint ventures to negotiating purchase and sale agreements.
"Whether it's raw land, office complexes and buildings, mixed-use projects, storage facilities, hotels and restaurants, redevelopment projects, single-family residential developments, multi-family housing, shopping centers, industrial or warehouse and distribution centers, I've done it," said Gross. "In addition, I have represented lenders as diverse as life insurance companies and national banking associations to private equity and municipalities."
Gross said he's excited to be at Sklar Kirsh, where he and other attorneys provide big firm experience at rates that are more in line with most clients' legal budgets. "I'm aware the importance that value plays in the minds of clients," Gross said. "My move to Sklar Kirsh provides clients with the highest possible level of value—excellent representation at competitive prices."
Gross received his undergraduate degree from University of Southern California (USC) and his law degree from USC's Gould School of Law.
