Sixt rent a car USA, LLC announces the launch of its latest advertising campaign and social media contest, "#GutenTagAmericaContest." The campaign is inspired by the company's recently-launched brand video, which introduces the German brand to the US market with a lederhosen-clad polka band playing the American national anthem. To participate in the contest, consumers are encouraged to show their own "German side" by posting their German-inspired content for a chance to win a luxury vehicle rental for a week.
The contest will take place June 1 through July 6, 2015. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter users may participate by posting a German-themed photo or video and using the hashtag #GutenTagAmericaContest. Additionally, entrants must tag Sixt rent a car or @SixtUSA. A different German theme will be announced at the beginning of each week, starting with German Style and Fashion. Once per week during the 5-week contest period, the most authentic, creative and/or funny post will be chosen and awarded with a voucher for a 7-day luxury vehicle rental, valid at participating USA Sixt rent a car locations.
