Six Star Pro Nutrition® Launches "Greatness Is Earned" National Scholarship Award For Up-And-Coming Athletes

Through the Six Star® Greatness is Earned Scholarship Award initiative, Iovate is making a difference in the lives of American high school and post-secondary students by awarding one male and one female student-athlete a $15,000 bursary (for a total of $30,000) to put towards their college or university education.

The ideals of this new, exciting scholarship award embody top performance on and off the field, and align perfectly with those of the Six Star® brand, according to Brian Cavanaugh, Chief Marketing Officer of Iovate.

The initiative is also championed by a list of high-profile supporters, including Six Star Pro Nutrition®-sponsored athlete Rob Gronkowski, all-star tight end for the New England Patriots of the NFL, who believes it will go a long way in giving motivated, deserving kids the opportunity to succeed.

Winners will be chosen by a panel of Six Star®-selected judges based on their athletic and scholastic merits; particular attention will be given to creative applications that showcase a unique love of sports, a positive influence within the community, and enthusiasm for higher learning and achieving success. The winners will also have the opportunity to be featured on Six Star® social media channels, websites and other national communication materials that feature excellence in performance. Additionally, each winner will receive customized training programs from Six Star® personal trainers along with a full year's supply of premium Six Star® sports nutrition products.

Students in the United States can be nominated by their peers, friends or family, or they can submit their own entries at www.sixstarpro.com/scholarship. Registration opens August 29, 2016, at 12:01 a.m. and closes April 30, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. with winners announced on May 30, 2017.
