Six Flags Initiates Process to Refinance and Upsize its Senior Secured Credit Facilities
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas, June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: SIX), the world's largest regional theme park company, announced today that it has commenced the refinancing of its senior secured credit facilities with the goal of increasing its term loan B amount by approximately $130 million to $700 million and increasing its revolving credit facility by $50 million to $250 million. The company intends to use the incremental proceeds for general corporate purposes, including share repurchases. The company's previously announced consent solicitation with respect to its 5.25% Senior Notes due 2021 expired without receipt of the requisite consents.
