Six Batches - One Mission: Change the Face of Retail Forever
20 startups have been hand-selected for Batch 6 of Plug and Play Brand & Retail
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Plug and Play announces another elite batch of Brand & Retail startups to join them on their path to retail disruption. These twenty startups will be a part of a 3-month accelerator program designed for emerging retail technologies.
The Plug and Play model allows startups to engage with the entire retail industry at once – from retailers, brands, CPGs, mall operators and solution providers – to scale their technology across the entire industry. Partners of the program play an active role in forming the program's focus, as well as working to identify ways to integrate the relevant batch participants into their core technology. Notable partners include: Panasonic, Colgate-Palmolive, Simon Venture Group, Henkel, Clorox, and over 30 other industry leaders.

The Brand & Retail program runs two batches per year, each sourcing over 800 applications, with only a 3% acceptance rate.
