Sitrick Adds 6 Including Seth Lubove, Former Bloomberg and Forbes LA Bureau Chief As Member of the Firm; Names Brian Glicklich Chair of Global Digital Media Practice
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sitrick And Company has added six executives to its Los Angeles office and created a significantly expanded Global Digital Practice.
Seth Lubove, an award-winning journalist who served as a bureau chief, associate editor and reporter at Bloomberg, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal, has joined the Los Angeles office of Sitrick And Company as a Member of the Firm.
Brian Glicklich, who has been with the firm for 10 years, has been named Chair of its Global Digital Practice and a Member of the Management Committee of the firm. As part of its expansion in this area, Sitrick has added eight new executives to its digital practice, including six additional new hires.
Mr. Glicklich has developed and implemented digital strategies for such diverse matters as the withhold campaign that the firm's client Roy Disney ran against Michael Eisner, the defense of Patricia Dunn, former chair of HP when she was wrongly accused of and indicted for "spying" on HP's Board, a client of the firm's who despite winning various lawsuits was unable to stop a predator from attacking him on the web and various other celebrity, litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Lubove, who most recently served as a reporter on the billionaires team at Bloomberg News, joins Sitrick after spending more than seven years as a reporter, magazine writer and bureau chief at Bloomberg News, where he authored six cover stories for Markets magazine, directed breaking news coverage for Southern California, and uncovered previously unknown billionaires. He has received awards from the Los Angeles Press Club, the New York Press Club and the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and was a member of a team that was a finalist in the Public Interest category of the prestigious National Magazine Awards.
He joined Bloomberg in 2006 after 16 years at Forbes, where he served as Los Angeles bureau chief, deputy bureau chief, associate editor and staff writer. Prior to Bloomberg and Forbes, Mr. Lubove was a staff writer at Times Publishing Co.'s Florida Trend magazine, a staff reporter in the Pittsburgh bureau of The Wall Street Journal, and a business reporter at The Miami Herald. A native of Pittsburgh, Mr. Lubove has a B.A. in English from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University
Mr. Lubove joins a roster of reporters and editors from such publications as The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Bloomberg News, NBC and CBS Television.
