SiSense Prism on AWS Marketplace offers instant access to scalable hassle-free Big Data deployments with 14-day trial
NEW YORK, November 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
SiSense, the Big Data Analytics Company, today announced the immediate availability of SiSense Prism™ on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, including a 14-day trial at no additional cost. Companies of all sizes can now instantly analyze Terabyte-range analytics workloads in the cloud and create interactive dashboards without having to acquire or maintain expensive hardware.
SiSense Prism, the first all-in-one solution for Big Data Analytics, includes a high-performance database, ETL capabilities and web-interactive visualizations. Prism won the Audience Choice award at the O'Reilly Strata conference and SiSense was recognized as one of the "Most Innovative IT Ventures" at Under the Radar. SiSense Prism on AWS Marketplace allows users to analyze billions of rows of data and create interactive dashboards without investing in on-premise hardware.
"Our goal is to make Big Data Analytics accessible and affordable for businesses of all sizes," said SiSense CEO Amit Bendov. "By offering Prism on the AWS Marketplace, business users can analyze 100 times more data at 10 times the speed of traditional in-memory solutions, and they can do it on-demand. Just sign up and you're ready to go."
SiSense Prism on AWS Marketplace provides enterprise-grade service, scalability and speed on a low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud. The AWS Marketplace is an online store that allows business users to buy and immediately start using the software services that run on the AWS cloud. SiSense Prism is now available as a pre-configured Amazon Machine Image (AMI), enabling customers to deploy it in one click on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
"Companies can use the cloud to dive into data projects without the burden of a capital infrastructure expense," said Terry Hanold, Vice President, Cloud Commerce, AWS. "By leveraging SiSense's solution on AWS Marketplace, customers can slice and dice terabyte-scale datasets quickly and with high performance while only paying for what they use."
SiSense's In-Chip Analytics technology is optimized around modern CPU architecture. While other technologies solely rely on RAM or on Disk, Prism uses the CPU, RAM and Disk, and decides in real-time how to best use machine capacity to its fullest to store, compress and access more data faster. This allows SiSense Prism to work faster than in-memory solutions without limiting data size to physical RAM.
