NEW YORK, March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will broadcast every 2013 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP race live, offering comprehensive coverage of the sport to listeners nationwide.

SiriusXM, which has carried FORMULA 1 racing since 2008, begins its 2013 coverage with this week's season-opening event, the 2013 FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX in Melbourne, which will air Sunday, March 17 (2:00 am ET). Every race, all season long, will air live on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 208, including the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX in Austin, TX on November 17.
In addition to live coverage of each race, SiriusXM offers multiple replays, giving listeners several opportunities to hear every event. The 2013 FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX will be rebroadcast Sunday, March 17 (8:00 am ET) and Saturday, March 23 (8:00 am ET) on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 208.

The FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is the highest end of open wheeled motor racing. The 2013 season runs from March through November and consists of 19 GRAND PRIX races run on road course tracks, as well as some closed city streets circuits. The results of each race are combined to determine two titles, one for drivers and one for constructors (teams).
