ATLANTA, May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SIPCO, LLC, the world's leading innovator in the wireless mesh networking industry, is pleased to announce that it has won a major Markman ruling in the SIPCO, LLC v. Datamatic, Ltd., et al. (No. 6:09-cv-00532) case pending in the Eastern District of Texas.
The suit originally included defendants Datamatic, Ltd., EKA Systems, Inc., Johnson Controls, Inc., Sensus USA Inc., and Trilliant Networks Inc. and involves SIPCO's U.S. Patent Nos. 7,103,511; 6,492,692; and 7,468,661. Datamatic is the only defendant remaining in the case.
The Court adopted constructions consistent with those proffered by SIPCO and rejected Datamatic's argument that the patents were invalid as indefinite.
