SIPCO, LLC Files Patent Infringement Suit Against ADT Security Services, Inc.
ATLANTA, May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SIPCO, LLC, the leading innovator in the mesh technology industry, announced today that it has filed a patent infringement suit against ADT Security Services, Inc. ("ADT") for infringing its patented technology in the security industry.
Four of SIPCO's valuable mesh technology patents -- U.S. Patent Nos. 7,103,511; 6,492,692; 7,697,492; and 6,914,893 -- are at issue in the case, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. As a result of ADT's on-going infringement, SIPCO seeks both injunctive relief and monetary damages.
SIPCO, LLC was formed by renowned inventor and entrepreneur T. David Petite. Mr. Petite has been an active leader in the wireless industry for over a decade and has over 30 issued U.S. patents to his name dating from the early 1990s.
