In response to consumer concerns of polyurethane memory foam contamination and an unpleasant long-term odor, Sinomax developed the PureFoam products to provide a holistic alternative, a better experience and a much needed peace of mind for consumers.

Polyurethane memory foam products are reported to be contaminated with polybrominated diphenylethers (PBDE), a chemical ingredient used to create flame retardants in foam, plastics and other fabrics. Banned by the EPA in 2005, these chemicals that act like carcinogens in the human body can still be found in foam products purchased prior to the ban.
