NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sponsored by ConsenSys, SingularDTV has increased its bug bounty program to 30 BTC per major or fatal flaw found in its Smart Contract System.
The SingularDTV bug bounty program began 10 days ago on Monday, August 29. At present, no minor, major or fatal flaws have been found in its Smart Contract System.
Zach LeBeau, CEO of SingularDTV comments, "We've had several participants and some false alarms, but no one has found any flaws in our code. We're committed to extending our bounty and are grateful to ConsenSys for sponsoring the increase."
Within the scope of the bounty are vulnerabilities and exploits found in SingularDTV's contracts located on Github as well as issues with its lightwallet. All bug bounty details, rules and disclosure policies can be found on SingularDTV's forum.
A bug bounty is a program offered by websites and software developers where individuals can receive recognition and compensation for reporting bugs, especially those pertaining to exploits and vulnerabilities. Bug bounty programs allow developers to discover and resolve bugs before the general public is aware of them, preventing incidents of widespread abuse.
