SingleHop Co-Founders Selected as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Finalists

CHICAGO, May 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SingleHop, a global leader in highly automated dedicated servers, cloud computing, and infrastructure-as-a-service, announced today its co-founders were named as finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year^® 2013 program in the Midwest.  The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

SingleHop Co-founders Zak Boca and Dan Ushman were selected as finalists by Ernst & Young's independent judges. Mr. Boca and Mr. Ushman possess a considerable amount of entrepreneurial spirit, with both individuals starting their careers early by operating online ad businesses during high school. The two began working together professionally during college, where they started their own hosting business called MidPhase. This first company was a success and was eventually sold in 2007 in order to further drive the early growth of SingleHop which the duo founded in 2006. They quickly established automation as SingleHop's biggest competitive advantage, building out its own proprietary internal automation services well ahead of other dedicated server providers.
