Single Parent Resource Center's Fall Fete 2015 To Honor The New York Junior League And Alan Fuchsberg
NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Single Parent Resource Center ("SPRC"), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping New York City's single parent families survive and thrive, will honor The New York Junior League and Alan Fuchsberg, a senior partner at the Jacob Fuchsberg Law Firm, at its annual Fall Fete on October 21, 2015. The event will be held at The Museum of the City of New York at 6:30 p.m.
"SPRC provides instrumental assistance to single parent families in New York City. The organization works with families grappling with a wide range of circumstances including homelessness, addiction, unemployment and incarceration," says Rosemarie E. Dackerman, Executive Director of SPRC.
"SPRC provides education and support to promote cohesive and healthy family units. It strives to curb abuse and neglect, and to teach nurturing skills. Programming includes nutritional education, addiction recovery assistance, children's support groups and leadership programs, as well as parents' clubs. SPRC also serves as an advocate for single parent families within the community," says Ms. Dackerman.
