3rd Annual Golf Tournament on September 28, 2012

ROWLETT, Texas, Sept. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A day of golf is a GREAT way to feed a family.  At Life Message in Rowlett Texas, our Golf Tournament is designed for just that. 

During these hard economic times, relief and help is available in North Texas by way of Life Message.   Too often in times of hardship, families and individuals get lost in the red tape of organizations that are designed to help based on certain qualifications that can be somewhat limiting.  Life Message is changing this by providing much needed assistance without all the red tape.  In order to keep providing these services, Life Message needs funding and support.

So, we would like to announce and spread the word about The Life Message 3^rd Annual Golf Tournament to be held on September 28, 2012 at the four star scenic Woodbridge Golf Club in Wylie, Texas.   Shotgun start time is 1:00 pm.  Fees: $75.00 for individuals & $250 for team of four (golf+cart+dinner) included.  Prize for 1^st and 2^nd place will be given away at the event.

Life Message is about people helping people. We are here to give assistance when it becomes difficult to provide some of the simple needs of life.  The spirit of giving can be a life changing force.  It has the ability to heal the spirit, inspire the imagination, motivate the soul and drive individuals to go beyond their ordinary abilities.

Life Message is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families who are in need of food and clothing.  Our food pantry & clothing center is located in Rowlett, Texas and serves the cities east of the DFW area.

Life Message is a member of the Rowlett, Garland, Sachse, and Wylie Chambers of Commerce and recently had their ribbon cuttings as well as participated in the Communities of Texas Foundation / Donor Bridge Day of Giving on September 13, 2012.  They are incredibly excited and grateful for the public, private, and community support.  Recently Life Message fed over 250 families for one month and has a goal to move the needle to 400 families in the near future. Life Message regularly feeds families in the Single Parent Advocate program and is an incredible collaborative partner.
