LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- California songwriter and seminal folk artist Joel Rafael will be joining co-headliner Tish Hinojosa for two California shows the first week of November. The pair will perform at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica on November 3rd and at Freight and Salvage in San Francisco on November 7th. Rafael will play original songs, some of his Woody Guthrie co-writes and other covers of American folk classics. America Come Home, Rafael's most recent release, is a socially conscious high-energy collection of songs in keeping with the great folk tradition- a genre that Rafael has mastered. The album was released through Inside Recordings, a label started by Jackson Browne, and features the award winning single "Dance Around My Atom Fire," a co-write with Woody Guthrie.
