OMAHA, Neb., Aug. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A year after making its health coaching programs more robust, SimplyWell LLC is seeing the difference it's making in helping members improve their health. The changes empowered members to enroll in more in-depth programs based on their specific risk factors.
This allows SimplyWell's certified health coaches to spend more time helping members set SMART goals around the specific risk factor and providing tools and resources tailored to help them achieve those risk reduction benchmarks. Spending more time helping them set realistic health goals and identifying effective strategies for healthy lifestyle change is why 95% of participating members felt the program helped them improve their health.
The adjustments to SimplyWell's coaching programs have produced some great results in the first year.
- 61% of members lowered their glucose level.
- 53% of members lowered their triglycerides.
- 42.4% of members lowered their Body Mass Index or Body Fat Percentage.
"We are thrilled to see the impact our more robust programs are having on the lives of our members," said Elaine Murphy, B.S., R.N., C.H.C., director of clinical strategy at SimplyWell. "In addition to the great health improvements our adjustments have yielded, we are noticing a huge improvement in members' commitment to making lasting lifestyle changes.
