SimplyFun Game Earns Coveted Teachers' Choice Award
Math Medalist selected by teachers to receive recognition
SEATTLE, Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SimplyFun, LLC, publisher of award-winning educational board games, received a Learning® Magazine 2018 Teachers' ChoiceSM Award for the Classroom for its Math & STEM game, Math Medalist. Teachers' Choice Award program was started in 1994 by Learning Magazine. Today, the program is one of the most recognized and prestigious awards in the educational market.
Each year, a team of teachers evaluates each submitted game in the classroom based on quality, instructional value, ease of use, and innovation. Math Medalist is one of 23 products receiving this honor for 2018.
According to one of the teacher evaluators, "I thought the game was great in supporting addition and multiplication practice, and more importantly, it gets kids excited about Math."
Math Medalist is two games in one for players ages 8 and up. One side of the board focuses on addition, where players add to 100 in 10s to score tiles. Multiplication is the used to play the game on the other side. Players use a multiplication table to compete for control of specific areas.
