Simply Peeled Relaunches as The Soft Serve Fruit Co™

NEW YORK, April 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Simply Peeled, the iconic soft serve fruit company that has quickly become an Upper East Side institution, is relaunching as The Soft Serve Fruit Co™ this week.  Famed for its healthy creations made simply from real fruit, filtered water and a touch organic cane sugar, the rustic eatery will occupy its same location on Third Avenue as well as offer local delivery.

The Soft Serve Fruit Co™ will offer the same all-natural seasonal fruit varieties, such as Banana, Mango, Strawberry and Pear, in kid's, medium and large sizes, a large selection of Sundaes and Smoothies, and they just introduced a gourmet Pretzel Cone. All soft serve fruit varieties are free of dairy, gluten, fat, sodium, and cholesterol and contain less than 90 calories in a 3.5oz cup serving.

Customers can also choose from a variety of toppings, all of which are free of additives, preservatives and high-fructose corn syrup, ranging from fresh fruit and granola to hot organic peanut butter and maple syrup.

The new logo artwork is based on classic wooden fruit crate signs to complement the eatery's charming wood accents and rustic ambience.  Designed by Garrett Singer Architecture & Design, the space takes cues from the quintessential summer house, juxtaposing checkered linoleum floors and vintage wood fruit crates with modern, fun, interactive details such as scratch n' sniff wallpaper.
