NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management solutions and services for the global financial services industry, today announced that Marc Mallett will lead the newly merged product, account management and sales organizations for SimCorp North America. The goal of the consolidation is to lever the deep product and industry expertise of a proven sales leader in order to serve clients across more functions, breaking down barriers and putting the partnerships at the center of the relationship.
With over 20 years of capital markets experience, Marc has helped asset managers and asset servicing firms successfully design, develop and implement global operating models. He joined SimCorp North America in January 2015 to establish a more formal local product management organization. Since then, he has demonstrated success in developing new business, enriching SimCorp's client engagement model, and driving North American partnerships with the consulting community.
"It is with great pleasure I announce the merger of SimCorp's North American product and sales organizations under the leadership of Marc Mallett," said James Corrigan, Managing Director of SimCorp North America. "This is a strategic move for our business, fuelled by our focus to be a customer driven organization. By consolidating product and sales, clients and prospects will be able to work with a more streamlined organization unified under a single point of executive accountability."
"Marc is a sales leader who has both depth of industry and product knowledge which makes him a well-equipped ambassador for buy side organizations. We have worked with Marc for over 15 years and for all our engagements with Marc, he has demonstrated a deep understanding of each firm's specific business needs and goals," said Jeremy Hurwitz, Principal and Founder of InvestTech Systems Consulting, a leading provider of consulting services to buy-side asset managers.
Prior to joining SimCorp, Marc held leadership positions at firms such as Northern Trust, where he was the Head of Product & Strategy for their global fund services business and the specialist consultancy Citisoft, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Marc also served as a Vice President of Technology at Fidelity Investments.
