Mark Briggs joins Silversmith's Industry Advisory Board
BOSTON, Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Silversmith Capital Partners (Silversmith), a growth equity firm focused on supporting the best entrepreneurs in technology and healthcare, announced today that Mark Briggs has been named a Senior Advisor of the firm. In this capacity, Briggs will contribute to the firm by offering industry insight, sourcing new investment opportunities, and providing strategic guidance to Silversmith portfolio companies.

Mark has over 20 years of healthcare and healthcare IT management experience, with an exceptional track record of achieving aggressive top and bottom line growth, creating shareholder value, and building market leading companies.
Most recently, Briggs was the Chief Executive Officer of ABILITY Network, a position that he held from 2010 to 2015. At ABILITY, he was responsible for developing the company's overall strategic direction and leading the company's rapid growth. ABILITY's products cover administrative, revenue cycle management, and clinical applications, as well as analytics and performance tools. ABILITY serves customers in acute, skilled nursing, home health, hospice, and ambulatory markets, as well as a broad range of payors, including Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial payers. Prior to ABILITY, Briggs served as Chief Operating Officer of Carefx Corporation, a leading provider of interoperable clinical workflow solutions. Before Carefx, he held executive leadership positions in NaviNet, was the President of MPI Solutions at QuadraMed Corporation, and served as the Chairman and CEO of LinkSoft Technologies, a company that he founded. Briggs holds a Master's in theoretical physics and a Bachelor's degree in physics, both from Dartmouth College.
