Silver Diner at the AIRMALL® at BWI Wins "Best Airport Restaurant Design" in the ARN 2013 Best Airports and Concessionaires Awards

BALTIMORE, March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AIRMALL® USA, the leading airport concessions developer in North America, is pleased to announce that Silver Diner at the AIRMALL at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall) won "Best Airport Restaurant Design" in the ARN 2013 Best Airports & Concessionaires Awards program.  Silver Diner received the award at a reception on Tuesday, February 26 during the ARN 2013 Revenue Conference & Exhibition (February 24-26 in Las Vegas, Nev.)  The Maryland-based restaurant will be featured along with other winners in the April 2013 issue of Airport Revenue News.

Currently, the AIRMALL at BWI Marshall is working with both the airport and its tenants to execute a $15-million upgrade to the concessions program over the next two years.  The project includes the creation of a new connector between concourses B and C, and Silver Diner will be located along this new connector.  Once renovations to the restaurant are complete and the new connector opens, Silver Diner will be one-third larger, enabling it to serve even more hungry travelers with its signature farm-to-table fare.
