Silicon Valley Based Xoriant Names Subu Subramanian as President and CTO

Xoriant, a product engineering, software development and technology services firm that delivers innovative solutions for technology companies and enterprises, announced today the appointment of Subu Subramanian as President and Chief Technology Officer.

Subu has extensive leadership experience in product management, engineering and operations including most recently as the VP/GM of the software platforms group at Cisco. At Xoriant, he will be responsible for building out the firm's practices in product engineering and enterprise solutions.

Before Xoriant, Subu held product management and engineering responsibilities for software platforms supporting the Cisco services business. He was also the VP/GM of Cisco's Smart Services. Prior to Cisco, Subu held a variety of product management and technology leadership positions at AT&T. He continues to serve the tech community as a mentor for several startups. He holds a doctorate in operations research from Univ. of California, Berkeley and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
