Silbo Co-founder, Daniel Caldwell, Joins the NAYS Advisory Council
Partnership focuses on improving youth sports
RALEIGH, N.C., March 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Silbo, Inc., the leading automation platform for sports officials and amateur sports leagues, is proud to announce that our co-founder, Daniel Caldwell, has joined the National Alliance of Youth Sports (NAYS) Advisory Council.
NAYS Director of Education Programs, Kate Nematollahi, and Executive Director, John Engh found mutual goals and values in the way Silbo works to make a positive impact on youth sports through officiating. In September, Caldwell was invited to join the NAYS Advisory Council and later spoke to attendees of the NAYS Youth Sports Congress in New Orleans about common struggles in youth sports.
"Without officials there are no youth sports," says Caldwell. "We're working with NAYS to face the officiating crisis head on, and make sure current and future youth athletes can enjoy the benefits of sports for many years to come."
NAYS and Silbo are both advocates for youth sports and believe officials are vital to safe and successful sporting events. As a part of the partnership, Silbo officials qualify for discounted NAYS memberships.
