Sigue Corporation Contributes To Antonio Aguilar Monument

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sigue Corporation ("Sigue") announced today that it has donated towards the Antonio Aguilar "Bigger than Life" monument in the City of Los Angeles. The statue was dedicated on September 16 across the street from Union Station at Placita Olvera.

Antonio Aguilar was a Mexican actor, singer, producer and screenwriter who became an international figure and was influential in introducing Mexican culture and music to the United States and was known as "El Charro de Mexico".

"It is a privilege and honor to recognize such a great figure in the Mexican community. Antonio Aguilar's movies, music and concerts provided comfort and joy to many immigrant workers who left their families in search of a better life for their loved ones," said Guillermo de la Viña, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sigue Corporation.
