Sightline Systems Launches Advanced Analytics for Performance Management
FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sightline Systems Corporation is pleased to announce the newest features added to their Advanced Performance Management (APM) and Capacity Planning software suite. AutoCorrelate, Sightline's state of the art real time correlation engine, is the foundation of this update. AutoCorrelate assists users with quickly identifying the root cause of performance issues plaguing critical computer systems. By comparing millions of data elements in seconds, Sightline is able to show relationships within performance data that would otherwise go unnoticed.
AutoCorrelate's newest features include time shifting and automatic summarization to assist analysts with finding issues. "With complex application deployments these advanced features are an absolute requirement for IT professionals responsible for critical applications," says Jim Bercik, CTO for Sightline. 'Ask John' is another new feature. This unique feature provides analysts with recommendations on solving complex issues with their systems. "The 'Ask John' feature makes it possible for a broader range of users to leverage the advanced capabilities of the Sightline Performance Suite," adds Debra Ray, Director Customer Relations. These new features are available exclusively in Sightline's flagship product, Enterprise Data Manager (EDM).
In addition to these new features, Sightline has expanded its already extensive data collection platform coverage, the most extensive range of system coverage in the industry. Sightline now can analyze data from Java, Weblogic, JBoss, IBM MQSeries, IBM Message Broker, and SMIS enabled storage devices. With these additions, the Sightline solution provides complete coverage for virtually all Operating Systems, virtualization platforms and all major application frameworks and supported products.
