real fruit. simple ingredients. not a lot of sugar.
NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- siggi's is excited to announce the launch of their first kids' product line: siggi's squeezable, yogurt tubes. The new line adheres to siggi's commitment to low sugar, high protein & simple ingredients, and is available in three flavors: strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry.
siggi's is proud to offer a healthy alternative for kids:
- Each tube has 40-50% less sugar than the leading tube yogurt
- Over twice the protein than the leading yogurt tube
- No artificial sweeteners, colorings, or preservatives
"Added sugar in various forms is way too prevalent in children's diets today, even in normally healthy items such as yogurt," says Siggi Hilmarsson, founder of siggi's dairy. "siggi's was founded on the principle of creating, authentic, healthy yogurts that are low in sugar and contain simple, no-nonsense, ingredients. We are thrilled to now add a much-needed kids' option to our line up."
siggi's squeezable, low-fat yogurt tubes are available nationwide. The kids product line comes as an addition to the siggi's classic skyr yogurt, filmjölk drinkable yogurt, and probiotic drinkable yogurt.

A little more about siggi's dairy
siggi's dairy was founded on a commitment to offer yogurt products that are low in sugar with simple ingredients. siggi's products offer the highest ratio of protein to sugar of any natural flavored yogurt.
The story of siggi's started in New York in 2004, when Siggi Hilmarsson became homesick for a staple of his childhood diet from Iceland: skyr yogurt. Only finding overly-sweeten versions in the US, Siggi took matters into his own hands and made siggi's first batch in his apartment kitchen. After months of experiments, the skyr showed enough promise and soon moved from Siggi's kitchen to a local agricultural college in upstate New York, where the first 'professional' batch of siggi's was made. From kitchen to dairy plant, and from local markets to national distribution, demand for the siggi's yogurt grew quickly, and as the siggi's team grew, so did the family of products.
Currently, siggi's is distributed nationally and available in supermarkets such as Whole Foods, Target, Wegman's, HEB, Hy-Vee, and many other fine stores. For detailed distribution, please go to: siggisdairy.com
