Siemens Healthcare Agrees to Resell SSI's Claims Management Technology
MOBILE, Ala., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI) announced today that they have entered into a Value-Added Reseller agreement with Siemens Healthcare, Malvern, PA. The agreement enables Siemens Healthcare to sell SSI's industry leading ClickON® LinX technology, which provides patient claims editing and transmission for healthcare providers. ClickON® LinX can benefit Siemens customers using any Siemens revenue cycle management system, but includes a post back feature specifically designed to update patient claims information on the INVISION® and UNITY® platforms. Interfaces are also possible to any other Siemens revenue cycle product line.
Often, healthcare providers face frustrations managing claims data due to limited or zero compatibility between their claims management and revenue cycle management systems. This not only slows down workflow and decreases confidence levels, but also increases the possibility of claims-related errors for the patient and provider. Research and design teams at both companies worked collaboratively to achieve successful Health Information System (HIS) post backs in several areas, benefiting healthcare providers because claims changes made within the claims processing system are now accurately reflected in the revenue cycle management system, meaning state data files, reports and other information queries are consistent between the two applications.
"We felt that having Siemens Healthcare resell SSI's solutions was the logical next step in our relationship," said Doug Bilbrey, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SSI. "SSI payer rules are embedded in Soarian®. So, deploying SSI now is a good option for hospitals currently on the INVISION and UNITY platforms, but who are planning to move to Soarian. Giving Siemens Healthcare the option to sell SSI's products will make the transition for hospitals that much easier."
Ajit Sett, Vice President, Revenue Cycle Solutions Product Management, Siemens Healthcare said, "By leveraging SSI's claims management solutions, Siemens can provide customers with an industry-leading solution that has proven to lower claims denial rates and allows hospitals to access up-to-date claims data within their HIS."
