Siemens Enterprise Communications Appoints Chris Hummel as Chief Marketing Officer
Global software industry veteran with extensive marketing, sales and service experience joins enterprise communications leader
MUNICH, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Enterprise Communications, a premier provider of enterprise communications, today announced the appointment of Chris Hummel as the company's new chief marketing officer. Hummel will be responsible for the strategy, structure and execution of all Siemens Enterprise Communications' marketing activities globally. Reporting to CEO Hamid Akhavan, who himself recently joined the company from Deutsche Telekom, Hummel will serve as a member of the senior executive team.

Before SAP, Hummel spent 13 years at Oracle Corporation in a number of senior sales and marketing roles around the world and helped Oracle's customer service organization earn certification from J.D. Power and Associates for its "outstanding customer service."
