WASHINGTON, June 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Corporation today announced the appointment of David McIntosh as Vice President for Federal Lobbying. Joining Siemens Corporation on June 27th, McIntosh will help oversee legislative and regulatory issues within the Government Affairs office.

McIntosh comes to Siemens from the Environmental Protection Agency, where he served as a senior political advisor to Administrator Lisa Jackson and the Associate Administrator for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations. In these roles, he was responsible for the agency's interactions with members of Congress and state government officials, and served as Administrator Jackson's lead political strategist on climate policy and Clean Air Act implementation. Previously, McIntosh served on President Obama's Presidential Transition Team and acted as Counsel and Legislative Assistant for Energy and the Environment for Senator Joseph Lieberman. McIntosh also served as a Staff Attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council.
David began his career as a Law Clerk to a U.S. District Court judge in Washington, D.C. after graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. David currently lives in Washington, D.C. and will be located in Siemens Corporation's new U.S. headquarters in Washington, D.C.
