ISELIN, N.J., May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Siemens is being honored by Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac for its dedication to diversity with a proclamation at "Diversity & Inclusion Day" held at its Iselin campus.

The Mayor of Woodbridge will join the day's festivities and read a Proclamation naming May 10th "Siemens Corporation Diversity & Inclusion Day." Several top executives from Siemens will speak, and Mayor Wilda Diaz of Perth Amboy will also be in attendance. The event is from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on the Iselin Campus of Siemens Corporation.

Siemens has over 3000 employees in New Jersey at 20 different locations and currently has about 100 job openings in the state. There are over 20 positions open at its Iselin office in Finance, Audit and Human Resources and there are more than 40 positions open at its Princeton Research and Development facility for Program Managers, Software Engineers and Research Scientists. Individuals are encouraged to apply.

A Siemens Science Day will also take place on-site for approximately 150 Woodbridge Middle School students where employees will interact with students in fun, educational science games and activities. Siemens' community service organization, Caring Hands, has also organized Kiddie Keep Well Camp (Build a Bike) where employees will build 15 bikes for donation to the Edison, NJ-based organization.
