Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its South Region

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held at the Bellevue's Conservatory and the group also dined at Butcher & Singer. The event concluded with an outing to Lucky Strike bowling alley.  

Siegfried is excited to welcome Chris Bates, Gabi Martell, Brendan Roberts and Stephen Sevastides to its South region.    

Chris Bates
Chris joins the Charlotte Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried after spending three years at Deloitte focusing on the consumer products and real estate industries. His Bachelor of Science in accounting degree and his Master of Business Administration degree were earned at the University of Dayton.

As an enthusiastic and energetic professional, Chris possesses the ability to quickly create strong, emotional relationships. He leverages his colorful personality and communication skills to promote a collaborative work environment to help clients accomplish their goals. "I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and work on a variety of challenging client projects," Chris said. "At Siegfried, I'm part of a company that emphasizes and values employee development."

When Chris isn't watching the Dayton Flyers or the New York Knicks, he spends time with his friends, working out, playing basketball or visiting his family in Rochester, New York. On Sundays, he can usually be found eating cookies and watching a romantic comedy or two.

Gabi Martell, CPA
Gabi, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the South Florida market as a Manager. Before coming to Siegfried, Gabi spent time in the audit practice of Deloitte, as a Senior Analyst in FP&A at Royal Caribbean Cruises, and most recently as the Controller of Jet Asia Airways, a start-up airline in Bangkok, Thailand. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Miami and her master's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois.

Gabi has a unique ability to create paths toward achieving goals. By understanding the task at hand and providing an action plan, she helps her team stay on track while keeping communication paths open to discover any roadblocks. "I joined Siegfried to grow personally and professionally while working on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment with like-minded people," she said.

After living abroad for the past five years, Gabi is excited to be back in the United States. She looks forwarding to spending more time with her family and friends, as well as attending University of Miami football games.

Brendan Roberts, CPA
Brendan, a Certified Public Accountant, joins our Charlotte Market as an Associate Manager. He brings nine years of public and private accounting and advisory experience focused on transaction advisory services. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Gordon College and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Boston.

Brendan excels in challenging situations where new ideas bring solutions. His positive attitude and strong analytical abilities bring fresh insight to the work he takes on. "I joined Siegfried to leverage my diverse skillset to better assist companies with some of their more challenging projects," he said.

When he's not at work, Brendan enjoys seeing new places and entertaining friends and family.  Born and raised in the Bahamas, he's an avid supporter of Bahamian athletes and played on the under 15 soccer team.     

Stephen Sevastides, CA
Stephen, a Chartered Accountant, joins the Charlotte Market as a Manager. Before joining Siegfried, Stephen gained valuable experience at KPMG and at a media and entertainment group in South Africa. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa.  

He is a focused, reliable team player with a positive attitude, and finds himself motivated by challenging environments. He has a solid, calm, and rational approach to working environments that results in proactive solutions for all involved. "The ability to add value to several clients while exceeding their expectations is what attracted me to joining the Siegfried team," he said.

Stephen recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina from South Africa, and has already started exploring the city he now calls home!
