Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its DC Market

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held at the Bellevue's Conservatory and the group also dined at Butcher & Singer. The event concluded with an outing to Lucky Strike bowling alley.  

Siegfried is excited to welcome Neil Gentile, Richard Hwang, and Nicole Okungbowa to its DC Market.    

Neil Gentile, CPA

Neil, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the DC Market as a Senior Associate. Before this, Neil held a position at BDO, working primarily in the government contracting, technology and staffing industries. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from George Mason University.

A diligent and dependable worker, Neil enjoys being part of a team and always brings a positive attitude, which enhances his unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality work. His confidence, courage and work ethic enable him to efficiently and effectively help others meet tight deadlines. "I joined Siegfried because I wanted to assist clients in more of a 'value-add' role and gain exposure to different areas of accounting," he said.

Neil loves to travel to foreign countries and explore new cultures. He particularly loves to snorkel and scuba dive, and recently, he had the opportunity to cage dive with sharks!

Richard Hwang

Richard joins the DC Market as a Senior Associate. Previously, Richard was at BDO for nearly four years, gaining audit experience in various commercial industries, both public and private. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting and IT from the University of Maryland College Park.

Richard's positive attitude and commitment to his team leads to excellent results. He prides himself on being able to adapt to difficult situations and achieve the ultimate goal. "I joined Siegfried because of the unique and entrepreneurial aspect of the company, as well as the opportunity to work with other great professionals," he said.

In his free time, Richard loves to stay active by participating in sports leagues all year long, including football, basketball, and softball. He also loves to travel and tries to go somewhere outside of the country once a year.

Nicole Okungbowa, CPA

Nicole, a certified Public Accountant, joins the DC Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried after serving as a Project Accountant at Hines Real Estate and an Assurance Associate at PwC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in accounting and her Master of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Nicole possesses a unique knowledge and skill set that allows her to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions. Her positive attitude and ability to easily adapt to various situations helps her perform well in both individual and team settings. "I'm looking forward to working with smart, interesting people for new and exciting clients," she said.

In her spare time, Nicole loves meshing together her interests, including traveling, adventures, food and shopping. From skydiving in Hawaii to taking a cooking class in Guatemala to shopping at the souks in Dubai — she finds a way to bring her diverse interests together.
