Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its Central Region

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held in the Westin's Library on the first night of orientation, and later in the week, the group enjoyed a dinner at McCormick & Schmick's and an evening at Lucky Strike bowling alley.

Siegfried is excited to welcome Rachel Budd, Mauricio Duarte, and Pranav Patel to its Central region.

Rachel Budd
Rachel joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate. Before joining Siegfried, Rachel gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the automotive industry from PwC. She earned her bachelor's in accounting and finance from Grand Valley State University and her master's in accounting from Oakland University. 

Rachel is an eager and passionate professional who possesses a unique ability in being able to build and develop relationships amongst client teams. "I'm excited to take on challenging opportunities that increase my mental agility, courage and communication skills," she said.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys exercising, cooking and traveling. She loves to hit the gym and run outside, and also frequents the farmer's market on weekends to handpick fresh fruits and vegetables. Rachel also loves to travel the world; she enjoys exploring new sights and taking in different cultures.

Mauricio Duarte, CPA
Mauricio, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the Cleveland Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from EY, where he gained almost three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the manufacturing industry. Prior to that, he also spent several years at Progressive Insurance as a Business Systems Analyst. He earned his Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in both accounting and finance and his Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace University.

A curious learner and effective listener, Mauricio is skilled at understanding problems and finding innovative solutions. "The variety of projects, as well as the opportunity to experience different companies in different industries, is what drew me to Siegfried," he said.

In his free time, Mauricio loves to cook. He also enjoys traveling with his family and, despite having grown up in Brazil, visited Rio de Janeiro for the first time this past December. A photography enthusiast, he often shares his travels with friends and family on social media. Not satisfied with only taking in the sights, he also enjoys learning new languages as a way to better understand the culture of the people who speak it and is currently learning Spanish.

Pranav Patel
Pranav joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate after spending five years in public accounting, focusing on the real estate, alternative energy, and health care industries. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Pranav utilizes his decisive impact to find effective solutions to complex issues. "I joined Siegfried for the variety of client industries and project types, as well as a greater work/life balance."

In his free time, Pranav enjoys traveling and spent five weeks in Europe this year. When he can, he likes to visit Tanzania, where he was born. He's also an avid golfer and a big Michigan football fan.
