Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its Central Region

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about Siegfried, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Importantly, all new employees are given the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel's pool deck on the first night of orientation, and during the remainder of the week, the group enjoyed dinners at restaurants such as Nobu, Delmonico Steakhouse and Costa di Mare.

Siegfried is excited to welcome Chase Canter, Tim Gerrard, Greg Henderson, Brandon Paladino and Keiko Umeki to its Central Region.

Chase Canter, CPA
Chase, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the Cleveland Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried after spending nearly five years in public accounting at BKD, LLP and Deloitte. His industry experience includes energy and natural resources, financial services, manufacturing, and health care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University.

Chase's strong will and determination, coupled with his genuine appreciation of teamwork and different ideas, provide innovative, quality results. Chase said he joined Siegfried because of his "desire to take on diverse projects for prestigious clients."

An avid sports and outdoors enthusiast, Chase enjoys golf, skeet shooting and hiking. When he isn't spending time outside, he attends and watches sporting events, particularly college football, and regularly attends the home games of his alma mater, Penn State University.

Tim Gerrard
Tim joins the Philadelphia Market as a Senior Associate. Before coming to Siegfried, Tim gained three years of audit experience in a variety of industries at RSM. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Chester University. 

Tim's leadership and competitive nature help his teams tackle challenging tasks with confidence. "The opportunity to gain exposure to different kinds of clients and projects that would help me grow both personally and professionally is what drew me to Siegfried," he said.

A huge Philadelphia sports fan, Tim recently became a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, and looks forward to making several trips to the beach this summer.

Greg Henderson, CPA
Greg, a Certified Public Accountant, returns to Siegfried as an Associate Manager in the Cleveland Market. He comes to Siegfried from Forest City Realty Trust, where his focus was financial planning and analysis. Prior to his time at Forest City, he spent five years in public accounting at Ciuni & Panichi, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Science in Accounting from Kent State University.

Greg's unwavering commitment to quality and integrity, as well as his ability to remain calm in stressful environments, makes him a desirable addition to any team. "The diverse client base, high-profile projects, and the opportunity to work with a group of highly-motivated, dynamic professionals is what drew me back to Siegfried," he said.

When he's not spending time with his family and friends, Greg cheers on Cleveland sports teams, explores new cities and undertakes remodeling projects at his house.  

Brandon Paladino, CPA
Brandon, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate. Before coming to Siegfried, he gained three years of audit experience at Crowe Horwath, LLP in the health care, manufacturing and retail dealership industries. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Western Michigan University.

He said Siegfried's culture, its interesting clients and its challenging work were his primary reasons for becoming part of the Siegfried team.  

Brandon lives for time spent outdoors—sometimes it's hard for him to choose between traveling, fishing, relaxing, exercising and playing sports.

Keiko Umeki, CPA
Keiko, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the Detroit Market as an Associate Manager. Previously, she was at Vaco, where she gained internal audit experience with a focus in the manufacturing industry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Law from Minnesota State University.

Keiko is highly motivated and committed to providing exceptional service to her clients. "I'm very excited to be a part of the Siegfried team and take on challenging projects, work with a variety of clients and push my career to the next level," she said.  

Not afraid of adventure, Keiko enjoys finding new restaurants and wines, traveling, cooking and exercising.
