SIA Ranks Largest US Staffing Firms for 2016
134 staffing firms now over $100 million in US revenue
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, yesterday released its 2016 report on the Largest Staffing Firms in the United States. Ranked by revenue, the report covers firms that generated at least $100 million in US staffing revenue in 2015. This is the 21st annual report on the largest US staffing firms.
"This report is our largest ever revenue and market share estimate for staffing firms in the United States," said SIA President Barry Asin. "The 134 firms represented in the report highlight the growth and diversity of the US staffing industry."
The report features 134 companies, in an increase over the 122 firms included in last year's report. Although four companies from the 2015 report no longer appear due to acquisition, nineteen additional staffing companies have broken through the $100 million revenue barrier.
The Allegis Group headed the report again this year with $8.6 billion in staffing revenue and 6.5% market share. A privately-held firm, the Allegis Group remains the market share leader for the tenth year in a row. Adecco, Randstad Holding and ManpowerGroup also retained their rankings from last year, with Robert Half International swapping its previously held sixth spot with Kelly Services to round out the top five for 2016. Another notable shift this year was EmployBridge Holding Company's move up to seventh position this year after combining with The Select Family of Staffing Companies.
