Shred-it Acquires Super Shred Document Destruction

Acquisition enhances Shred-it's presence and scale in key Canadian markets

OAKVILLE, ON, Sept. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Shred-it, the world-leading information security company providing document destruction services, announced today that it has acquired Super Shred Document Destruction. The effective date of the acquisition was September 11^th, 2012.

Super Shred operated a leading onsite document destruction service operating primarily in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with operations in Cambridge and Ottawa. The acquisition applies to all of Super Shred's operations; Super Shred's operations will continue to operate from its existing location, near Toronto Pearson Airport, and will represent Shred-it's third branch in the GTA.
