LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HAI Booth Number: 3617 -- SHOTOVER, the maker of high performance stabilization platforms, announced today its upcoming participation at HAI HELI-EXPO where it will be showcasing its industry leading SHOTOVER F1 gyro-stabilized camera platform and SHOTOVER U1 drone. The company continues its torrid industry growth with recent sales to a number of new and existing customers including Cinemoves, CoyotAir, Beijing RichSoul and Team5 Aerial Systems.
New customer Cinemoves has purchased an F1, U1 and U1g (U1 gimbal without the aerial component) to support its shoots around the world, while CoyotAir, one of Spain's largest helicopter operators and aerial production companies, has purchased an F1. Team5 Aerial Systems, which already owns the flagship SHOTOVER K1 and the SHOTOVER Hydra panoramic system, has acquired a new F1. And top China production house Beijing RichSoul recently purchased its third F1. SHOTOVER continues to be a Hollywood favorite with recent credits for the flagship SHOTOVER K1 including Jurassic World, Furious 7, Straight Outta Compton, Sicario and Spectre.
"The F1 has proven to be the most successful tool in its market and we believe the U1 and U1g will follow in its footsteps," said Cinemoves owner Scott Howell. "We are committed to providing our customers with the best tools to enhance 'The Art of Camera Movement' and it was an easy decision to add these tools to our rental fleet. The U1 is the first purpose built Cine Drone to date and between its safety features and its performance there is nothing I know of that comes close. The possibilities are endless."
SHOTOVER's modular design provides unparalleled versatility, accommodating cameras such as the Red Weapon and Dragon, Arri Alexa (all models including the Alexa Mini), Phantom Flex4K, Canon C500, Sony F55 and F65 along with a broad range of lenses. Users can easily change camera and lens payloads themselves without the need for a SHOTOVER technician and all system owners receive complementary technical training. Out of the box, the F1 can accommodate more than 150 different lens and camera combinations with no additional equipment necessary. The U1 can accommodate almost 70 combinations and the list is growing rapidly.
"2015 was an amazing year for SHOTOVER with accelerating sales in more than a dozen countries as well as the launch of the industry's first professional grade unmanned aerial vehicle with the SHOTOVER U1," said SHOTOVER investor and acclaimed aerial cinematographer David B. Nowell, ASC. "SHOTOVER continues to pioneer groundbreaking new capabilities that push the art of aerial cinematography forward and we are excited to help the world's most dynamic and innovative filmmakers achieve their goals in 2016."
