Shore Community Bank Appoints New Chairman/Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors

TOMS RIVER, N.J., May 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Shore Community Bank (OTCBB:SHRC) announced today that the Board of Directors appointed Howard Butensky, Esq., Chairman of the Board of Directors and David Rosen, Vice Chairman.  Mr. Butensky and Mr. Rosen are both original founders and organizers of Shore Community Bank and have been members of the Board of Directors since 1996.  

Mr. Butensky is a practicing attorney located in Tuckerton, New Jersey.  He is a member of the Ocean County and New Jersey Bar Association and an associate counsel to the New Jersey Zoning and Planning Officials.  He has previously held a number of municipal positions including attorney for the Borough of Tuckerton and Toms River Township.  He is a member of the Lakewood Heritage Commission, Lakewood Historical Society and a former Trustee of the Kimball Foundation.  

Mr. Rosen is President and Owner of Good Friend Electrical Supplies in Toms River, NJ.  He currently serves as a Trustee of Community Medical Center, Community Medical Center Foundation, Ocean County College Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Ocean County.

Commenting on today's announcement, Mr. Boisseau, the Bank's former Chairman, stated, "I enjoyed serving as the Chairman of the Board of Shore Community Bank for the last 4 years and I congratulate Howard and David on their recent appointments.  I wish them and the Bank continued success in the future."

Mr. Boisseau, a founder and original organizer of the Bank, was instrumental in navigating the development and growth of the Bank since 1996. His guidance as a Director and contributions on many Board Committees has been invaluable through the years.  Mr. Boisseau, upon his retirement from the Board, now holds the position of Chairman Emeritus.
