Shootsta Launches US Operations
Subscription-based video production company empowers U.S. companies to create high quality, on-demand video content
CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, subscription-based video production company, Shootsta, today announced the launch of the company's U.S. operations as part of a strategic focus on organically growing its global footprint.
U.S. brands in the mobile communications, healthcare, software and digital marketing industries are already tapping Shootsta to help create quality video content for a variety of purposes and the company is on track to add 20 new clients in the region by year's end.
Shootsta enables anyone within an organization to become a storyteller and create high-quality, on-demand video content that inspires and engages audiences, incredibly quickly, cost-effectively and at scale. The company teaches its clients how to shoot their own content, gives them a custom camera kit and all the training and support they need. The client is then free to shoot content, upload their files to the Shootsta platform – and its team of editors does all the post-production in 24 hours.
"The U.S. boasts some of the world's most iconic, creative brands, brands that view disrupting industry standards as essential to growth and innovation," said Chad Lakin, vice president, North America at Shootsta. "These are exactly the types of companies we want to work with, making our expansion into North America a logical next step for us. Shootsta flips the traditional video production agency process on its head, democratizing access to high-quality video and empowering brands to publish video content much more efficiently and cost-effectively. We've seen an immediate demand for our services in this region and are poised for swift growth across multiple industries."
Lakin leads the strategic direction and U.S. operations for Shootsta. He is supported by an impressive team of business development and video production specialists. In the last year, the company brought on Collin Miller and Mark Kunzman, business development managers, to support the company's organic growth strategy in North America. In addition, Shootsta hired industry veteran Kelly Guenther, video specialist, to lead Shootsta's U.S.-based video production team. A deeply experienced digital marketer and storyteller, Guenther is also an Emmy-award-winning journalist and cinematographer.
Shootsta's U.S. launch comes on the heels of the company's 2018 expansion into Hong Kong, its second office in the Asian region. The company launched in Singapore in 2017, following a $1M investment by Adcorp in 2016 and is due to launch in the U.K. soon. For more information on Shootsta, please visit http://shootsta.com/.
