Shine measures the intensity and duration of your physical activity and provides data such as steps taken, distance travelled, and estimated calories burned. Wear it at night to track sleep as well. Shine comes with a clasp so you can wear it in a number of different locations. Other accessories available include a sport band, a leather and metal band, and a necklace which enable you to wear Shine anywhere on your body and to any occasion.
Tap Shine and a halo of lights appears to show progress toward your daily physical activity goal. Set your goals on the app and then wear Shine anywhere: hip, neck, wrist, shoes, chest, shirt, etc. Super-strong and water resistant to 50 meters, Shine is great for swimming. It is carved out of a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum and is built to last a lifetime. Shine syncs with your iPhone in seconds and is powered by a regular user-replaceable coin cell battery which lasts up to four months - no cables for syncing or charging.
The Shine App, available on the App Store, allows users to set their personal activity goals and see visual summaries of how they're doing each day and week-to-week.
Shine with a clasp will be available for $99.99. The leather bands (black and tan colors available, black is only available at Best Buy and on BestBuy.com) and the necklace will be available for $49.99. Shine can also be purchased at http://store.misfitwearables.com/
