RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Shifting Gears Scavenger Hunt & Auto Show event of the year is quickly approaching. The Scavenger Hunt is a novelty event designed for puzzle enthusiasts or anyone who wants to have fun! The event is a family-friendly event with activities such as a kids zone, safety fair and auto show throughout the day. The concept of this event is similar to the popular TV show "The Amazing Race" with a few extras added in. MADD's Shifting Gears Scavenger Hunt is a fun, innovative and novelty event which involves clues and puzzle solving as a way to identify checkpoints along the course route. The hunt should take less than 2 hours to complete.
This year's car show is in partnership with the Piedmont Classic Chevrolet Club and is open to all makes and models. Awards will include: Best Ford, Best Chevy, Best Truck, Best Non-Chevy, Ladies Choice, Directors Choice and much more. Dash plaques will be available to the first 150 cars registered.
