ALLENTOWN, Pa., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Shift4 Payments, the leader in secure payment processing solutions, has launched its brand new Lighthouse Business Management System for customers who use the company's point-of-sale (POS) solutions and payment processing services. Lighthouse delivers a complete business management solution for Shift4 Payments customers, including extensive reporting capabilities, employee scheduling, remote POS system management and customer engagement tools.
Many of Lighthouse's advanced capabilities were developed in partnership with Jon Taffer, host and executive producer of Paramount Network's hit TV show Bar Rescue. These "SmartPOS" tools incorporate Jon Taffer's proven revenue-generating tactics for business owners. Lighthouse's SmartPOS features include management tools for social media, customer engagement, loyalty and online reputation. Merchants can link their social media profiles to schedule posts, track the performance of their content and manage all their social media accounts in one place. Customer engagement tools enable businesses to set up welcome emails, promotional offers and more using built-in tools to improve customer loyalty. Businesses can also view ratings and reviews from multiple online review platforms and easily respond to customers to improve their online reputation.
Lighthouse features a marketplace for merchants to access third-party apps that will integrate seamlessly with their payment solution and POS system. Initial app offerings include online ordering, online reservations, capital financing programs and employee scheduling. Future apps on the marketplace will include additional third-party solutions for accounting, loyalty, marketing, reservations and more.
Merchants can use Lighthouse to access a wide range of reports to gain valuable insights into their business operations. These reports include payment processing information such as transactions, deposits and chargebacks, as well as information pulled directly from the POS system, including ticket-level data, discounts, voids, inventory, employee reports and sales by customer, department, employee, item or order type.
Shift4 customers who utilize the company's family of POS systems have access to additional management features. Business owners can remotely update POS settings and add, remove or edit menu items and discounts. They may also manage employees and scheduling with integrated timeclock reporting directly from the POS system, allowing them to easily add shifts for each employee and generate a detailed schedule that can be printed or emailed to staff.
Shift4 Payments CEO Jared Isaacman states, "The Lighthouse Business Management System was developed to give our customers the tools they need to succeed in today's competitive business environment. Advanced reporting puts actionable data at their fingertips so they can make more informed business decisions, while remote management provides the flexibility they need to manage their business on their terms, and Lighthouse's SmartPOS capabilities can give them a leg up against the competition."
