BOSTON, Feb. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SHIFT Communications, an award-winning integrated communications agency, is proud to announce the promotions of Nicole Bestard and Katie Clark-AlSadder to Vice President. The pair's promotion, in addition to Matt Trocchio's 2014 promotion to VP at SHIFT's newly launched Austin office, highlights the Agency's senior leadership growth nationwide.
Bestard has been with SHIFT for a year and half after joining the Agency's New York office as an Account Director in June 2013. In her role as Vice President, she will oversee a team of six employees on clients in both the B2B and consumer spaces including H&R Block, Mode Media, Suburban Propane and Whistle Sports. Prior to SHIFT, the one-time Silicon Valley journalist spent two years as Director of Marketing Communications at Gabriel Marketing Group following a more than five-year stint at Jarvis Communications where she also served as a Vice President.
"SHIFT is filled with dedicated, smart people who use a variety of experience and robust roster of clients to hone in on stories that set each product or idea we work with apart from the everyday noise of 'typical' PR," said Bestard. "Getting to work with my team on such an array of clients is a huge part of what makes working at SHIFT such a joyful undertaking. I'm excited to do my part to help drive the growth of one of the best, brightest, independent agencies out there."
Clark-AlSadder is entering her fifth year at SHIFT's San Francisco office after arriving at the Agency in 2010. As Vice President, she will head a six-member account team while servicing a consumer-based client roster that includes Toyota, Whole Foods Market and National Center for Families Learning (NCFL). Clark-AlSadder joined SHIFT as a Senior Account Executive in 2010 after a more than three-year tenure at Allison & Partners. While at SHIFT, she has moved up the ranks from Account Manager to Account Director, and now, Vice President.
"There's nothing more invigorating than coming to work every day knowing you'll be challenged, inspired and supported by colleagues and clients alike," said Clark-AlSadder. "I'm looking forward to further growing our consumer lifestyle practice here in San Francisco and across the Agency as we evolve within this dynamic landscape."
"We could not be prouder to announce the well-deserved promotions of Nicole and Katie," said SHIFT President Amy Lyons. "Both women exemplify the high standard of leadership and client service we pride ourselves on as an Agency. To be able to expand our leadership team from within is particularly meaningful and I look forward to partnering with them as we continue to drive growth for their teams, clients and SHIFT."
